: I have some of the family tree from Anthony
: Stoddard, who immigrated from London to
: Boston in 1639. I don't have any
: information about a Stoddard with four
: brothers. If you want a copy of the
: Stoddard family history, published in 1865,
: I will make a copy for you. It details the
: descendants of Anthony's offspring by his
: first wife. These family members settled in
: various parts of New England, but not just
: New York. Let me know.

: I know I am somehow related to one of the 4
: brothers that came to America in the 1600's
: but no idea which one. Years ago I heard
: the story from an Aunt. I reside in
: Massachusetts, but was born in Upstate New
: York. I have info on my branch of the
: Stoddard tree but it doesn't go back further
: than Grandparents. I would love to figure
: out how I fit into this history, so I can
: pass the info on to my kids. Any info on
: the New York Stoddards would be greatly
: appreciated.

Nancy, I'm not sure if this is the Stoddard you are looking for but my grandmother was a Stoddard. She had a brother CHarles Wm. Stoodard married to Gladys Whalen Stoddard they had a daughter Sarah. They were from Sackets Harbor, New York, which is on the St. Lawrace seaway in nothern New York. If this is who you are looking for, I do have some information on Sarah grandpaents.
