I am trying to find out origianl source birth and death information on Judson Stoddard, born 1786 in Woodbury, Conn, died 1819 or 1820, possibly on a trip from Hartford, Conn to Ontario, Canada. He was married to Mary Ann Stoddard on 19 Oct, 1815. Judson's parents were Ichabod Stoddard and Mary Mitchell. I am looking for biographies of either of these two. For instance, was this the Ichabod Stoddard that was a prisoner of war in the Revolution? I know he fought in the Revolutionary War and was sick at one time. Ichabod's parents were Abijah Stoddard and Eunice Curtis. I am also looking for biographies on either of them. Abijah died in the Revolutionary War 6 May 1776 at Crown Point, New York. Does anyone know (with source info) how he died? I have seen a couple of notations that he drown and that he was killed in battle. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Kerri
