I have in my family tree a Rachel E. Stoddard who married David West on 6 Feb 1832 in Bridgewater Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Notes on Rachel Stoddard states born 1 June 1803 in Montrose, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, reared in Winsted, Litchfield, CT. Died 6 August 1884 in Sugar Grove, Kane County, Illinois. Also I show on the 1870 Census record of Blackberry Township, Kane Co., IL that in the household of George Catlin West (son of David & Rachel), there is listed a Frank Stoddard age 16 born IL.
