Posted by maria From what I've read, your doctor is right about your child's prognosis. However, some trisomy 22 children have survived, so it's not entirely impossible that your child might live. One report of two trisomy 22 girls aged 6 and 8 is available here: here is the website again hope this helped. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=568044&dopt=Abstract

I suggest you contact the support organisation for trisomy 18, 13 and similar conditions, who's website is http://www.trisomy.org/ . They are a support group for parents of babies with deadly chromosome disorders. I am sure this is a hard time for you, and since I have no idea what it's like to be in your situation, the best I can do is help you find people who understand
