My husband and I have a son born 4/23/05 with full Trisomy 22. Upon examination of out chromosome it was found that I have a balanced translocation of the 2/22 chromosomes causing his trisomy. We have been unable to find anyone (our doctors in MN have never seen this)with a child who is living with full Trisomy 22. Does anyone have any information, outside of literature, on a child that has lived with full Trisomy 22? What are the outcomes/expectations? We have been told that it is highly likely he will pass in early infancy.
