Hey Ronee,
I was thinking about you the other day. How are you? Did you find out anything from the doc yet? I soo hope it works out for you. I know this is hard, my dr told me that I would have to have the blood test depending on what the genetic tests they did on the tissues find. I am really scared about this. How are you?
Hugs and Luck

: I recently had a "missed"
: miscarriage 6 weeks ago and my doctor
: decided to do genetic testing. They
: found abnormalities in the 22nd
: chromosome, but have not been able to
: provide me with any more information.
: My husband and I had blood work done
: and should get the results in about 2
: weeks. I am a nervous wreck wondering
: if we will ever be able to have
: children. Do you know whether or not
: trisomy 22 will be a recurrent scenario
: that we will face if we get pregnant
: again, or is it possible to have a
: healthy pregnancy and a healthy child.
: What have your doctors told you about
: getting pregnant? Any information will
: help.
: Thank you, Ronee

: I have been having recurrent
: miscarriages
: and with my last miscarriage we decided
: to do some genetic testing. The
: results came back that there was an
: extra 22nd chromosome. I am meeting
: with a genetic counselor next week, but
: I was wondering if any of you could
: give me some insight as to what I
: should expect. I have a two yo son
: now, whom other than being small is
: perfectly healthy kid. I am so scared
: thay this maybe something that affects
: him and was wondering if I would have
: already noticed anything that was wrong
: or if maybe there are things that show
: later in life.
: Thanks!
