My daughter is 23 months and has taken up to 3 independent steps. She says Mama but usually only to protest something. She has lots of energy and is a really sweet little girl. She doesn not usually respond to her name, but sometimes she does. She has mimiced uh, oh for the speech therapist and said more as an imitation. We have frequent ear infections and wear glasses because she is far sighted. Would love to hear more about your daughter. Genetics told us the same thing about all the kids being different.

: My 6 year old daughter was diagnosed
: last year after a long time of trying
: to find out why she had so many
: delays. She did not walk until 2 and
: spoke only single words until 4.5.
: Right now she is on the learning level
: of a 3 year old. She has had problems
: with her ears and one of her eyes, but
: it is improving. She is very loving
: and trusting and full of energy. I was
: told that every child with this
: syndrome is so different that it is
: hard to know what the future holds.
