Jennifer - Do you carry a duplication, deletion or translocation? If you carry a translocation I would encourage you to join the yahoo balanced translocation group - on the health boards. This is a frequent topic of discussion. Success rates vary but normally IVF with PGD is not very effective in balanced translocation cases. There are questions as to whether or not good eggs are tossed, etc, and then there is no guarentee that the egg does not have another deletion, duplication or translocation as they only check for 13, 18, 21 and the issues at hand. The science is relatively new though so advances are likely.
