I have a grandson that was diagnosed with DeGeorge Syndrome when he was 1 week old. Ashton is his name. One early morning Ashton began having seizures and was admitted to the hospital for a week. After research and tests he was diagnosed with DeGeorge Syndrome. Ashton was affected by his immune system which now he must take all supplements such as Calcium, Vitamin D, Iron, Sulphatrim on a daily basis. Ashton appears to be a normal little boy, you would never know that he has a disability. My understanding is that DeGeorge can affect children differently. I hope this breif letter can help you or anyone in some way.
