: Candice, I have two children. One who

: six years old and another one who is
: four. I have had had two m/c in the
: last six months. This last time I
: miscarried they told me it was due to
: Complete Trisomy 22. I don't know much
: about this rare chromosomal
: abnormality. I have been trying to
: find out if it is hereditary or not. I
: have two healthy, beautifully
: children, I don't see why you couldn't
: either. Hope this helps! Beth

: Are there any parents out there with a

: I would love to hear of hope

I had 2 miscarriages in 2004. One was a molar and the other a trisomy 22. However, I have 2 healthy children ages 6 and 4. I asked the specialist re: the risk of trying to conceive again and possibly having another trisomy 22.....based on the results of the testing done on the trisomy fetus, there was no indication that this would occur again. There was no genetic "stuff" to support a risk (I don't know the medical terminology) Keep on trying and don't give up hope.
