You may want to involve the children's ideas on why it is important to keep their environment clean, as it is what they've inherited. One day, their children will also walk in their footsteps!
Have them make posters in groups, then maybe the comparisons between them will open more ideas of what they themselves will want to see during another fair? This of course, is what you might want to do next year! Hope your fair faired well!
