hi emma - it is about 6 years old, but the site closure guide is a pretty good start if you have not seen it yet. it researched all the available information on dump closures thru 2001 including their costs. look up closing your dump/landfill on a-z index. then you could call anthc and vsw and ask them for any landfill closures they did in villages since then they usually have the plans there. they are the ones that fund the most closures - so you might find a village that has similar situtaion so the plan would be similar.
