Posted by lynn on 8/15/2007, 11:50 am I am trying to find people interested in being part of a session at ATCEM on making your dump/landfill safer - things like improving access, setting burning times, separating out for a salvage pad, blocking tundra paths that are starting to degrade, keeping toxics out by having a hazardous waste shed instead, keeping people away from the dump by better or cheaper house collection system service, etc. Anything else that has made your dump safer for operators or the community. Joe Sarcone will be facilitating the session and we would like to have a couple of people talk about what they did, hopefully with pictures. It would be talking for about 10 minutes? Is anyone interested? Please reply to this message or also you can email me directly at lzender@zendergroup.org or simone at ssebalo@zendergroup.org. Thank you very much! Sorry for the long message - but if you are interested in presenting something else at another session - a call for ATCEM presenters was sent out to all tribes. If you did not get it, contact lisa mcguire at lmmcguire@anthc.org
