High-level exposure CNS effects and death. Chronic Effects = Chromosomal aberrations, CANCER. Dioxin - Acute Effects = Liver damage, weight loss, atrophy of thymus gland and immune suppression. Chronic Effects = Reproductive effects, including reduced fertility and birth defects.

Styrene- Acute Effects = Respiratory effects, such as mucous membrane irritation, eye irritation and gastrointestinal effects. Chronic Effects = Effects onthe Central Nervous System (CNS), such as headache, fatigue,, weakness, depression, CNS dysfunction (reaction time, memory, visuomotor speed and accuracy, intellectual function) and hearing loss, peripheral neuropathy, minor effects on some kidneys enzyme functions and on the blood.
