Hi Jerry,
While we are not writing any proposals on Global climate change, we do have an element of this years workplan addressing Alternative Energy. I know most villages in rural Alaska use diesel electric power plants to generate their electricity. If we could all reduce or get off our reliance on diesel fuel for electricity, we would not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also reduce the potential for spills and other environmental hazards associated with diesel power generation.
