From where I sit it's a little after 10 PM, New Year's Eve and in a moment of complete and utter flippancy I've reflected back on today/till everyone's rolled over to 1JAN05 and what it could mean to some. New beginnings, resolutions, lies, etc. but for me personally, it's an ending. Not just of a year but of thankfully, the holiday season. I like Christmas, gives me an excuse to get away from work and remember the birth of Jesus but what I can't stand is the annoying suicide awareness freaks who don't connect the fact I don't smile the other 11 months of the year to the fact I don't grin ear to ear in December. In less than 2 hours December will be over and people can go back to not bugging me about why I don't smile. Seasons greetings and God bless.
