Well in a Beavis and Butt-Head comic set at this time of year they ask Daria for the true meaning of Christmas (since, as they put it, "She has more useless crap in her head than anyone we know.") as she's putting up decorations on the tree. (Wonder how she got to the higher branches) She says she'll tell them if they help her decorate. After Butt-Head ties himself up in tensil and Beavis starts eating the popcorn strings she tells them "Peace on earth and good tidings toward men" and to get out.
