Or, he'd be willing to wait four years, then take on the possible Dem winner, hoping that people will wish for another Bush if things aren't going well at the time. Besides, four years is a lifetime in politics, and Gov. Bush could change his mind by then, though I'm thinking Sen. McCain is going to be the Republican's front-runner (out of a secret deal made with Pres. Bush for the Senator's support in the '04 election)
