Of doubt, there ain't no scintilla
That a dude oughta browse with Mozilla
That Big Outfit unit, while it works
It gots also many more quirks
Than the love life of HillaryBilla
©Zorro (aka bobby)
OK OK, ain't you ever heard of poetic license?
We all know that Zoggie has said
And Seamus "Mozilla'd", we read
But till I read from Alix: "Only Dummies
would fight Eye EEE and get sick in their tummies
Did I finally put Eye EEE to bed
I tried to remove some of the hurt
From the ten thousand hours of blurt
out the things that are true
written to each one of you
Till all I have left is my shirt
I missed you guys yes, very much
Said Goodbye, but that I'd stay in touch
And that I have done
By lurking for fun
But trying , my business to clutch
But if anyone knows
When the mind/body takes blows
for forty three years
of conspiracy fears
You can't recover sometimes, and it shows
On the face and the body
When your thinking gets shoddy
When certain "pangs" just won't leave
No matter the intake to relieve
and thoughts of a lemon U honey toddy
Pass through the mind
that once was an unusual kind
That sought only to "give"
And life's high joys to live
Such thoughts are surprising to find
In the mind, quite often, a bunch
come the words: "There ain't no free lunch
When too often you enter the fray
Then the Piper you're sure to repay
And suddenly it's more than a hunch
That the laws of all life
say that too much damned strife
Will for sure take it's toll
Too much "rock" and no "roll"
Gives the dread "drum" but no lilting "fife"
So take this from me on this day
If your heart had learned not to dismay
Because the power of GOD in you worked
But you faltered and HIS GIFT you shirked
There will truly be much "Hell to pay"
And yes, it takes but one thought for me
To create poems of promise, you see
Sometimes it takes the joy of love
Here on earth, and from HIM who is high above
For latent GOD gifts to "break free"
So there's one thing I'd hoped for a lot
That we two were "givin a shot
Me and Seamus on those brand new Bikes
Riding Nee Vad Duh's roads, yelling "Yikes"
But as yet, the Lottery said : "NOT"
But I can drive to a wind swept high peak
and for GOD in my life , there to seek
So for each one of you
May GOD richly bless too
He bears gifts that are better than GREEK.
(Hope that didn't go over too many heads)
OK, better put it in for "the younger crowd"
Old saying: "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts"
Sorta takes the wind out of it, but one must try not to leave anyone out of a story or a caring.
See? The moment my mind saw: Caring
It wanted more poem to be sharing
But it's time to stop
To the bed, go kerplop
in the Purple silk "jammies" I'm wearing
NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT
(but you knew that...it's "draftier" than a hospital gown....brrrrrrrrr)
The nice Colorado man said "brrrrrrrr
Even wearing his jammies of fur
So to keep him all cozy
We'll call Peaches and Rosy
And Gretchen, if we can reach her
SEE ???
When your mind says stop and the fingers say No
What can you do? With a ruler , strike blow?
Like Mrs Van Sickle
In grade Seven, it didn't tickle
When she smacked us with rulers, you know.
I got fourteen slappings that year
But the thing that brought unbridled fear
"If my Dad finds out
I'll get even more clout"
Oh that was an interesting year
For it was far from and nicey and groovy
For she'd seen many a mean Nazi movie
She slapped first with the palm
And then blessed with the balm
of a backhand, and so it behooved Ye
To duck hard and fast
Before her second blast
So often we'd duck for to seek
The pain in only one cheek
while the wind from her backhand went past
Butt you often did not save one cheek
When you went to the Principal, no geek
And though you said "I'll do it no more"
The paddle came out of the drawer
To beat five stinging smacks , and you'd peek
At your butt in the boys room and say Damn
From the mouth that said Yes and No Ma'am
And endeavor to stay
Outa Van Sickle's way
For you hurt on both ends, Yes Siree Sam.
