video of a spring start stihl chainsaw. Designed on purpose to be lightweight and very easy to start. It's a light weight and small displacement saw meaning "light duty" but it will cut wood and looking at the vid seems about as easy as it could get to start it. No fast yanking, just pull the cord back (slow speed is fine it appears) until the spring is wound, then trip it, and it starts.
