Now I'll tell ya what to keep an eye out for on your local craigslist and clasifieds. Old american made all magnesium body chainsaws. Old Poulans, Homelites and McCullochs. You will get the most cut per dollah from then things, and they can all be fixed and made to run. I'm getting older 56 CC poulans (model 3400s, got 4 now) for like 20 bucks, throw ten bucks worth of new lines and filters, little carb cleaning, etc. Cut like banshees. I got a 74 Cc old model (model 245A), total I have into it is around 50 bucks I think. Go price a 70 something Cc husky or stihl.
