Anyway, the past two months it has exploded, just all sorts of "stuff" for sale now. Vehicles, household goods, tools, you name it, I even see "stuff" that in happier times would be pure junk or at best donated to the thrift shop, now advertised for sale.
So..I am downsizing projects, unloading some of my stuff/junk now before it becomes worth-less, then turning around and rebuying bargains, stuff I really need, as opposed to want.
Want an example? I didn't buy it, but the other day I went and looked at a 26 foot winnebago. rough but ran, could a got it for a few hundred dollars.. I ain't kidding. Not real good as a camper without a lot of rebuild, but as a truck that could carry mass quantities of cargo, get cheap insurance as an RV, and still do duty as a camper in a pinch....I've seen a ton in the grand to two grand range that had about zilch wrong with them, same with tow-behinds.
That's the sort of "stuff" deals that are out there now. Tools--too numerous to mention. And the higher end deals if you have cash, amazing deals on a few year old ride with all the bells and whistles for like half sticker price. I think people bought in on payments with job..then no job and try to sell and come out break even.
My point in all this is we have not even come close to rock bottom economic collapse/misery, it is just getting going good (well, bad, but you know what I mean).
