Like I said in my other recent post, I'm looking at investing in some kind of water filtering. If you're up for it, I'd like to see "Zog's Comprehensive Guide to Water Filtering In The Wild."
I'd like your opinion on the pros/cons of stuff like power mode (gravity, solar), and types of water that can be made drinkable (rain, river/stream, brackish, seawater) with different systems. I'd like your opinion on maintenance, portability, and longevity of different systems too.
If you've already posted this somewhere, please give me a link.
Also, anyone who has links to good resources on knots/splicing, please post them.
