Finally got some, not heavy, mostly light. Did get the stream flowing again. Not a wide babbling brook yet, but better than what it's been. Yeah zog, odd we should be so short of rain this time of the year. Still, we're far from the drought conditions we had for 3 years.
Had our first frost 2 nights ago. Not a little frost either - but a good hard, killing frost! Usually don't get that hard a frost til mid-Nov. Only good thing about that is now we should warm up and see an Indian summer. At least I sure hope we do. Been running 30* below normal the last week. Mentally, not ready for those kind of temps by a long shot!
