I like how my life insurance company handles this better. They contact the local charitable arm of the company, who puts on a fundraising dinner to get you the money you need to survive right now without giving up your life insurance security.
That company? Knights of Columbus, the only AAA Standard's & Poor rated life insurance and annuities company left after the crash of 2008.
