Here's an interesting little essay by Chuck Baldwin discussing empires, in this case the US, and when/if we might fall. It has a *very* interesting little graph or list actually in the middle that shows all previous big empires and how long they lasted before they collapsed. Hint: we are right now well inside and approaching fast that time frame.

And I noticed they left one out, the old soviet union, which didn't even make it one century. And THAT collapse actually seems to have helped everyone concerned.
