What!
"Snuggle bunny" turns into a wild cat? hahahahaha
If she's a handful, try wrapping her in a towel, it's softer and absorbs those claws a tad better. My Tinkerbell turns into the cat from hell with major attitude, but wrapping her in a towel seems to do the trick. And yeah - she sulks big time once she's released. When she was like maybe 6 m/o, she had something major wrong with one eye. Ran her to the vet - and I don't know how the heck they do it (she wouldn't let us near her face) - but he just grabbed ahold of her head. leaned it back, opened her eyelids, upper and lower, and there tucked way down inside her lower lid was a chuck of straw! It must have been extremely painful cause this was no small speck - over 1/2" long! Anyhoooooooo - had to put cream antibiotic into her eye for a week. Only way we could do so was to wrap her up in a towel.
Even though you think none is going in cause her eyes are closed - some will get in there. a drop is MUCH better than none! Try doing it at night, just before bed. She should settle down quicker that way. Seeing how big monster you has gone to be and no longer a "threat" to snuggle bunny. hehehehe Poor poor little kitty.
