hmmmmmm - Patterson NJ? . . . that could prove MOST interesting. Can't see them city dwellers putting up very long - they're too use to doing whatever/whenever. NYC and it's surrounding cities get the nick name "city that never sleeps" fer nothing!
But yes - I agree - this "could" very well be the "test" city. But they're gonna have to call in the guard cause this sure as heck is NOT gonna float in Patterson.
First of all - what the HECK are they gonna do with all the garbage!!?? Most city garbage is picked up during the night time hours. WHAT are they gonna do for EMT's, ambalance crews, nurses shift changes, docs called in on emergencies AND heaven help ANY woman who goes into labor during thode hours! Whoooops kid - yer gonna halfta wait til curfew is over. GOOD GRIEF!
And what about the stores, restrurants, and other business with 24/7 hours?
As a side note - our "local" network stations on satelite are all DC stations. I only caught the tail end, so this may be not completely accurate - the news caster said that 350k MORE troops were to be reassigned to some military base in the DC area. From what I could gather, their assignment was to be in the immediate future. Ain't that "special"? NOT!
I'm sooooooooooooooooooo glad I have quite a few mountain ranges between me and DC! Big plus for me. Big minus for son who still lives on the Eastern Shore.
