I suppose we'll know in three months.
there are other ways of culling, for the wealth grabbers and their evil fat cats, should that be their goal.
With 16% of the people of the world living in hunger and 43% of the world impoverished that's really a huge chunk of the population that would not need much change to be totally wiped out. And we're already seeing farmland being staked out by countries with means in areas of the world with impoverished native populations, and those natives not even being used as laborers.
In the U.S., we're going to have a "healthcare plan", the big experts on the subject tapped for White House's team already have in the past advocated rationing of care with priority for the younger, mandatory periodic counseling of the retired to be put into "palliative care"( just relieve pains of ills rather than treat or cure, presumably until dead) and other population control measures such as euthanasia and assisted suicide (maybe whether patient wants it or not).
With the shear high percentage of people over 50 who need medication just to stay alive, merely having a shortage of a few key kinds of drugs would drop life expectancy by decades and eliminate probably over 20% of the population.
For those who take the view that human life is precious, then the looming shortages become engineering problems. solvable ones, and I believe the earth could even support 9 billion people with food, shelter and clothing. but not with our current rulers.
