My only question would be - what bike can handle 7%, 9%, and 11% grades? Actually, not the bike - know the bike can do it - but what about seniors??? And I don't mean short grades either. I'm talking about grades like that that are 1 & up miles long. And brakes??? I'd imagine you'd go thru a whole bunch of them.
When we first moved here, after being a flatlander for 15 yrs, I thought going up these mountain sides was so cool - 'cept when we'd reach the crest and I recalled "what goes up MUST come down"! Did a lot of oooooooh s$#*&@+. Now we zip right along.
