The Millenium Project has released (offered for sale with some stuff free) a quite long and comprehensive report on emerging threats that could impact all of humanity. It addresses the environment, food and water, diseases, wars and natural disasters, crime, human rights and science and technology advances.

Interesting little data point in there I found amusing, global bribery-bribes paid to corrupt governmental officials, under the "crime" section- tops one trillion a year, and the international illegal drug trade is only 300 billion in comparison. Perhaps we need a "war on corrupt governments" as a higher priority.
