Just the thing for stockpiling in ye old bunker for those long nuclear winters, a new season of doomer movies.
Hey, I like them... Doomer/Armageddon/ultimate survival. Anything from Omega Man to A Man Called Horse, all good stuff. And I'll classify Predator as a dang good survival movie as well.
..and every boy *needs* an electric chaingun, and active camouflage....

...mostly I yell at the screen and tell them how to do it. Or I am going NO WAY like with that last two parter on TV, Meteor! When they were using MANPADS to shoot down meteors..I mean..c'mon now..
Anyway, what's your favorite doomer movie? I guess mine hasn't been made into a movie yet. I would like to see a *good* adaptation of Unintended Consequences.
If I had to pick from what's out there now....hmmm..wildcard longshot, The Stand, end of the world, ultimate good versus evil mixed with survival, got all the bases covered. LadyZ's is Blast from the Past, the one where the scientist erroneously thinks WW3 happens, so he spends like 35 years in his bunker and sends his now grown up kid out to scout around.
