I have a feeling my gimpy leg would be much less than that- more like 30RPM, which is why I'm looking into adding a pedal generator to my EZip scooter instead- forgoing the gears for a battery & electric motor.
This conversation got me to thinking- the seat pedestal on the Ezip is removable, and the handle bars fold down. Should be possible to build a seat rig out of an old office chair and some bicycle parts that gives me a recumbent pedal generator on a post that just plops down into the Ezip seat pedestal hole, and a cable coming off the generator that plugs into the recharging port on the front frame. Might need to also add "training wheels" for landing gear, but have them a few inches off the ground so there is no drag at full speed, even when cornering.
Alternatively for you "gearing is better" types- Curie Electronics, which designed my scooter, does sell an electric-assist system for any bicycle.
