yeah, I wish I could have had my mini-van engine in diesel, the 2.4L gasoline engine could be replaced by a 1.8L diesel.
I'm all for people getting a proper vehicle for the job, big vehicle for big job, but around where I live there is no reason for most people to have huge vehicles huge engine, but most do. They're driving their hummer or SUV to their sales/marketing desk job.
Being set up for gasoline rather than diesel in this country means we pay more for refining and more for engine wear and replacement of vehicles.
