since we've had recent affirmation of right to bear arms in the context of firearms, we should go back and re-examine silly knife laws such as Federal Switchblade Act, which was brought about by hype from a few silly Hollywood movies! And let's expand concealed carry to include "long" folding knives, switchblades (yes, they had spring loaded folding/extendnig blades in the 18th century) and anything else pointy that the Founding Fathers would have known.
Outlaw crime, not useful tools!
