Most cheap safes have a certain fire rating, but their burglary rating (B1, B2 and B3) is such that someone with appropriate tools could get into them in about five minutes! But consider that even the higher UL ratings of TL-15 or TL-30 (15 or 30 minutes with diamond cutting wheels) or even TRTL-30 (includes torch in possible tools, 30 minutes) means someone could be in and out while you are away for an hour or more. Or if the thing weighs less than 400 lbs. and is unfastened they could easily hand truck the thing away.

In short, anything affordable, $300 or under, isn't going to slow down an equipped crook too much if they have an hour and they have found your safe.
