<I>OK...some of us off-grid cusses might, but certainly no commercial customers will, that's for sure! </I><BR><BR>I'm not so sure of that- but then again, I live in the Portland, OR metro area, where environuts and tax rebates for "green" businesses bloom like wildflowers.<BR><BR>I can easily see a contractor making a big deal out of some art-deco kinetic energy off-grid building in the middle of the Pearl District in Portland, and ending up with a waiting list 20:1 deep for condos and offices in that building.<BR><BR>40:1 if he gets Kroger to put a parking lot on the first two floors, a Fred Meyer on the next two, and he's able to mix office space with condos in the rest of the building.
