Hi Folks: I haven't been around too much since the days of white planes with cotton-ball contrails. Don't even remember my handle back then - but I have dropped in to browse from time to time - and it's good to see ya'll are right on top of the situation.
Zog - you got my attention with reference to beings from other planets possibly having visited earth - and I don't doubt that at all.
Have you read any of Zecharia Sitchin's books?
He's probably the leading authority on the Sumerian and other ancient languages - 90 yrs.old now - has been persuing this his whole life. His website:http://sitchin.com/ in case you haven't been there.

Baalbek is reportedly the only ancient structure to have survived the Biblical flood - and according to Sumerian records was the landing place for the Anunnaki ships. Baalbek is located in the Cedar Mountains N.E. of Beirut.
Looking at the photos on the link to Baalbek,notice the size of those humungous blocks of stone - the one still in the quarry estimated to weigh 1200 tons - no one has suggested how they might have moved these things a mile or so from quarry to building site - and then put them in place - notice also the perfect dimensional cuts and the fit in the next to last photo.
