Along with thew face masks, and perhaps some rubber gloves, soap is the number one way to keep well in the face of this pandemic. Just plain old wash your hands a lot *soap*. I imagine there will be a rush on this soon if not already. Has anyone been shopping for these supplies, do you have any anecdotals, seen any shortages with the masks, gloves or soap?
Other good things to have, immune boosters, CoQ10, garlic, oregano products, etc. "Normal" flu remedies of the over the counter variety.
Also, do you hear of any local emergency planning response? A big fat zip around here so far, most people seem unconcerned over it. I did discuss it with my boss, he has a stock of face masks as we do, but I doubt the other workers have more than a couple apiece of the cheap variety.
How about at your workplace, any discussions for shelter at home or shelter at work?
The big deal with these pandemics is the potential for so many people not being able to go to work that "normal" distribution channels become disrupted, basically for everything.
So, what I am saying is, if you are shy on this or that prep, might be a good idea to get crackin' today and beat the rush, can about guarantee there will be runs on supplies sooner if not later.
