Not being privy to the deepest and most secret conversations with these guys, all we can do is make educated guesses. Your analysis and guess is probably partially true, but we really don't know all the ramifications and the conspiracy if you will is most likely rather convuluted and has overlapping aspects to it.
Alex Jones in particular has nailed quite a few things over the years, it is basically his life's work now, example, he predicted the 9-11 attacks on July 25th 2001, even asked listeners to contact government authorities and beg them to not use their cia asset bin laden to attack america. Heh, I was one of those folks who did that, proly got on yet another list for my efforts...
Anyway, if you google for "the obama deception", you can find the free to download and share video, his latest work, which focuses on this topic. I watched the low res version, but there is a high res version out there as well, check the youtube comments for which one that is.
And here is today a piece from Bloomberg, with Nobel winner Stiglitz commenting on the bank bailouts. He more or less just says (very politely and diplomatically) they are a ripoff and designed to enrich wall street insiders/casino bankers.
