There is a movement in several states to address our out-of-control federal government usurping the power of the states and the people, in violation of the Bill of Rights Article 10. The federal government uses its funding, and coercion with threats of civil and criminal penalties, to strong-arm the states into compliance.
The governor of Texas has added his support to a bill affirming the rights of the States.
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
