Posted by SPW on 9/18/2006, 11:45 pm Saturday SPW presented Punkslam 3 at the Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma for the most successful show yet. The opening match saw Mr. Frost defeat Kassy Summers. This was Kassy's strongest match yet, though she lost. The second match saw Ryan Drago defeat Jesus Kruze and Kenny K in a three way Third match featured one of the top tag teams in Nor Cal, the Mafia defeat the makeshift team of Brian Cage and Otis the gimp The band Ashtray played a set In a hard hitting contest D-Unit successfully defended the BRAWL Heavyweight Title against Trent Hemridge Making his return to the ring (for one night only. For now...) Dante defeated Money Mike Rayne In the main event Sir Samurai defeated Shane Dynasty via a DQ to retain the Punkslam Championship. SPW and Punkslam return to the Phoenix Theatre on November 18. The next night SPW returned to St. Peter's Hall in Sacramento The dark match saw the Blanchards defeat Kenny K and Trent Hemridge The opening match saw Malachi defeat Wage Richon (out of Portland, Oregon) Money Mike Rayne defeated Sir Samurai Shane Dynasty and El Flaco Loco got into a war of words and it led to a loser leaves town match. Thanks to help from the Blanchards Flaco got the win and Shane is now done wrestling in Sacramento. The number one contender's tag team battle royal was won by the new team of El Hijo De Chupacabra and Virgil Flynn. The other teams were the Mafia, the Blanchards, the Suburban Commandos, the Douglas Brothers, and Kenny K/Jesus Kruze Rik Luxury issued the Luxury Suite Open Challenge and it was answered by Brian Cage (out of Chico, Ca). It was a hard fought match but Cage got the win in the end. Seito Hayashi snuck in a win over Vinny Massaro. After the match the Blanchards came out and talked to Vinny Massaro. The new team of El Hijo De Chupacabra and Virgil Flynn defeated the Honor Society to win the SPW Tag Team Titles. Big Ugly JD Bishop won the Pandora's Box match. The first stipulation was Bundy Rules match (must win with a five count... Adam won). Second was a Junkyard Chain match (Ugly won). Final stipulation was a first blood match (Ugly won after the Blanchards and Vinny Massaro came out to help him). SPW thanks Shane Dynasty for five years of hard work and congratulates Virgil Flynn and El Hijo De Chupacabra on winning the tag team titles. SPW returns to St. Peter's Hall on October 15 for our annual Halloween show. This years will feature a main event of the Big Ugly JD Bishop and Adam Thornstowe in a ONE HOUR IRONMAN MATCH as match six of the Supreme Seven Series, the next installment of the Luxury Suite Open Challenge, and the return of the Halloween Costume Battle Royal (Traditionally one of the most entertaining matches of the entire year).
