SPW on the Road 9/10/06

This was a weekend for the members of Supreme Pro Wrestling.... Saturday evening Virgil Flynn stole the show in the main event of the APWA show in Colorada, impressing famous trainers Dr. Tom Prichard and Les Thatcher with his fundamentals. He wrestled in a six man tag match. The Colorada federation was so impressed with Virgil that they have expressed interest in having him appear at all future shows. Saturday also saw Mr. Frost and Seito Hayashi debut for CWA in Santa Maria (So-Cal). Frost lost to Vennis DeMarco, Hayashi lost to Kid Omega. And the two teamed up to defeated Immortal Fear (the team of Billy Blade and Kaydon. That same day Devil Mountain Wrestling held their debut show (in Concord). The opening match saw the Suburban Commandos win a four team match (also featuring the Smirnoffs, El Hijo de Chupacabra/Kenny K, and Helfyre/Trent Hemridge to win the DMW Tag Team Titles. The rest of the card was a tournament to crown the DMW Heavyweight Champion. Paul Isadora defeated Rik Luxury, US Steele defeated Jesus Kruze, and Sir Samurai defeated Rage. In the main event Sir Samurai defeated US Steel and Paul Isadora to win the DMW Title. In Pleaston, Ca CCW held their third show. That show saw Vinnie Massaro defeat Apolo Kahn to retain the CCW Title, Kenny K defeated DJ Rizz, Mother Truckin Otis defeated the British Messiah Timothy Thatcher, The Sheik and Sir Samurai fought to a no contest, the Bad Apples defeated Rik Luxury and Scotty Aboot, El Hijo De Chupacabra defeated Tito Aquino, Big Ugly and Vinnie Massaro defeated Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend. This upcoming weekend SPW has two huge shows with Punkslam in Petaluma on Saturday and SPW at St. Peter's Hall on Sunday.
