Posted by SPW on 7/16/2006, 9:56 pm The opening contest saw Steel put his Butt Title on the line in a four corner reverse elimination match (winner of the fall gets to return to the locker room). Kenny K scored the first pinfall. In his SPW debut Sean Pulver scored the second. And in the end Money Mike Rayne pinned Steel and thus Steel is still the BUTT Champion. Second match of the night saw Trent Hemridge defeat Mr. Frost, who had Sir Samurai in his corner. Following the match Samurai said there was only one man he felt could stop him from winning the Punkslam title and that man was Shane Dynasty so Samurai brought in a problem solver. Shane Dynasty defeated Pogo the Clown. After that match Shane said he knew Samurai could not beat him for the title... but that he brought in a monster as well, for Samurai to face. Sir Samurai defeated Kassy Summers. Funnybone (a Las Vegas wrestler making his return to SPW) defeated D-Unit in a really solid singles match. The Punkslam Battle Royal featured Shane Dynasty, Trent Hemridge, Kassy Summers, Sir Samurai, Mr. Frost, Tommy Tsunami, Dangerous Dillon, Money Mike Rayne, Otis, Sean Polver, Funnybone, Chico Esquilla, the Crimson Plague, D-Unit, Jesus Kruze, Kenny K, and Steel. At the bell everybody attacked Samurai, except Frost, who was busy yelling at the fans. The final four were Dynasty, Kassy, Frost, and Samurai. Shane tossed Samurai out and his feet hit the stage so he should have been eliminated, but the refs missed it. Shane and Frost both went over the top, but landed on the apron. Kassy knocked both off and the crowd thought she had gotten the win. Samurai returned to the ring and tossed her out and was named the first Punkslam Champion. He ordered Frost to put the belt on him, but Shane tossed Frost from the ring and did it himself. Shane and the Rejected attacked Samurai and left him out cold. Already announced for the next Punkslam.... Shane Dynasty vs Sir Samurai for the Punkslam Title.
