Posted by SPW on 7/3/2006, 7:35 pm SPW Heavyweight Champion: Rock Legend Scum Adam Thornstowe (Won on April 30, 2006) 1. The Big Ugly JD Bishop Ugly is in the middle of his Supreme Seven Series with Thornstowe. Whoever wins the best of series will be the SPW Heavyweight Champion. After Luster's strong showing in the Escape the Chaos Cage Match on May 12th he is in the number two position. Standing seven feet tall Paul Isadora almost took the title from Old School Oliver John in one of Oliver's final title defenses. The current BRAWL Heavyweight Champion, weighing in at 420 pounds, is the most experianced wrestler in Northern California and is a threat for any title he sets his eyes on. And finally, in the fifth position, with the help of the Honor Society and a variety of dirty tricks there is nobody Samurai can't find a way to beat. SPW Extreme Champion Rik Luxury (won on April 29, 2006) 1. Virgil Flynn Virgil Flynn is arguably one of the most popular wrestlers in Nor Cal today (and, surprisingly, is currently the NAW Heavyweight Champion). On July 2 he had the Extreme Champion pinned, however Virgil is currently banned from using the top rope and thus was DQed. El Hijo De Chupacabra is always a threat for the Extreme Title and on any given night can beat anybody. Many feel that Money Mike Rayne is holding himself back splitting his time between wrestling and pimping. Neither is easy, but when Mike is focused he is one of the best around. Don't let the skirt and flowered bra fool you, Seito Hayashi is a very skilled mat wrestler and can fly just as well. And finally there is BUTT Champion Steel. Considered one of the better big men in Nor Cal, Steel has recently found himself distracted by his BUTT belt. If he can get over that distraction there is no reason why he could not rise to the top of the Extreme or Heavyweight Division SPW Tag Team Champions: The Honor Society team of the British Messiah Timothy Thatcher and Mr. Frost (Won on April 30, 2006) 1. The Rejected Regardless of what combination of Shane Dynasty, Luster the Legend, and Trent Hemridge is in the ring the Rejected are hot on the trail of the SPW Tag Team Titles. Following their victory over the Suburban Commandos the two time APW Tag Team Champions Vennis DeMarco and Chris Corlioni are nipping at the Rejected's heals. The most popular tag team in Nor Cal, the Commandos recently lost the BRAWL Tag Team titles (to the Rejected) which has made them even more focused on the tag titles that have always escaped their grasp. The Blanchards were the final men to hold the SPW Trios Titles and whenever they appear they reestablish themselves as a top team. And finally, while the Big Ugly JD Bishop and Vinny Massaro are not currently working as a team, when together they are considered the top team in both California and Oregon so at a moments notice they could return and attempt to add another tag title to their collection.
