Posted by SPW on 7/3/2006, 10:20 am The show started off with the roster coming out and the bell being rang ten times in honor of John "Earthquake" Tenta, who recently passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. After that was done the Honor Society came to the ring. Samurai announced that the only way the Rejected would get a tag team title shot is if one member of that group was able to pin Sir Samurai, or make him submit. Trent Hemridge answered the challenge. First Match: Trent Hemridge defeated Sir Samurai via a DQ Right from the start it was odvious that Trent was there to win and planned on using the Gore to get the job done. First time he went for it Thatcher and Mr. Frost crotched him and pulled him from the ring. He fought back and immediately went after Samurai again. He went for it again, but this time Samurai jumped out of the way and he assumed Trent ran into the corner. However Trent caught himself, turned around and nailed Samurai with the Gore. Before he could get the win the rest of the Honor Society pulled the ref from the ring for a DQ and attacked Trent. Luster the Legend and Shane Dynasty charged in to make the save. Shane said screw the belts, he wanted a six man tag for later in the evening. The Honor Society agreed. Second Match: Pogo the Clown defeated Kenny K Talk about a huge size difference, but I will give Kenny credit. He fought back and actually got some offense on the much bigger Pogo. But once Pogo hit a Japanese Suplex it was over. Third Match: The Mafia (w/ Johnny LaRocca) defeated the Suburban Commandos These two teams really seem to battling to be next in line (after the Rejected) for a tag team title shot. The Mafia, wanting to get the win quicking, attacked the Commandos with the Commandos were still on the way to the ring. Once in the ring, though the Commandos were able to cut them off and take over. The Mafia turned things around, and with help from their manager were able to double and triple team Rizz without the ref being any wiser. D Unit finally came in legally and cleaned house on Chris Corlioni and Vennis DeMarco. Rizz came back in and Vennis was able to sneak in a pin with his feet on the ropes. Fourth Match: Rik Luxury defeated Virgil Flynn via a DQ to retain the Extreme Title As Virgil made his way out he checked under the ring to make sure El Flaco Loco was indeed out of town. The two started off trading holds back and forth with Virgil getting the upper hand more often than not. Can I just say, it is amazing to me how much the crowd responds to Virgil's "Cannonball." Virgil lost track of things and hit his 450... however once Rik pointed out that Virgil was not allowed to use the top rope the ref reveresed the decision. Traditionally there are no DQs in an Extreme title match, however Virgil is still in the middle of his 90 day ban of using the top rope, due to a match he had with El Flaco Loco in May. Anyway, Virgil responded to this by hitting the ref with his Suwa Kick. Fifth Match: Money Mike Rayne defeated Dana Lee Lee was making his debut in SPW and comes from Hayward, Ca's All Pro Wrestling. This match was a bit different than other matches that took place, more of an "East Coast" style... ie faster pace with less impact. Type of match that tires you out when you watch it. Crowd enjoyed it. Rayne got the win with his Stunner variation. Sixth Match: El Hijo De Chupacabra defeated Seito Hayashi (w/Kassy Summers) Early Hayashi was able to get the Father Nelson on El Hijo. A move that never leads to a win, but always takes his opponent off their game. Hijo responded with the Shocker... but it did not have the usual effect. Once the disturbing stuff was out of the way a good match broke out with neither man able to dominate for long. Both guys really had the crowd behind them. In the end the more experianced El Hijo De Chupacabra was able to get the win. Seventh Match: Match 2 of the Supreme Seven Series... under falls count anywhere rules.. Rock Legend Scum Adam Thornstowe defeated Big Ugly JD Bishop to tie the series The match started off in the ring, going hold for hold. After awhile action spilled out of the ring, where Ugly immediately hit Adam with a Verticle Suplex on the floor. As they fought their way around the building they took turns killing each other. Back in the ring neither man was able to take control for long. They even took turns hitting the Curbstomp. Ugly went after the ankle and refused to break the Anklelock once he had it, but Adam was able to roll him up for the pin as a counter to the move. The main event: The Rejected (Trent Hemridge, Shane Dynasty, and Luster the Legend) defeated the Honor Society (Sir Samurai, The British Messiah Timothy Thatcher, and Mr. Frost) Right from the start the Rejected went after the Honor Society, with the action spilling from the ring. Eventually the Society was able to cut them off and isolate Trent in the ring. They had their way with him for awhile until Shane pulled down the rope and Samurai fell out of the ring, allowing Trent to take in Luster. Moments later and one Doomsday Device later and it was over and the Rejected were victorious, pinning Thatcher.
