SPW on The Road for May 13

As you all know Friday was a big night for SPW due to the success of the Hardcore Cage Match. But for a good portion of the roster that was just the start of the weekend. Saturday afternoon NAW took a part in Manfest in Madera, Ca. Jesus Kruze and Rob Wilds was a Double DQ, Money Mike Rayne w/ Suga Daddy Sean Stevens defeated Rage, Sir Samurai defeated Chris Ward, Jason Vega defeated Mr Frost, The Ax Murderer Steele defeated Hellfyre, Dante beat up Mark Vega, Mr Frost defeated Chico Esquilla (of Los Despididos), Office Depot Deathmatch...Money Mike Rayne defeated Steele and Mark Vega. Saturday Night Oaktown ran in Alameda. On that show Jesus Kruze defeated Rage and the team of Chino and D-Unit defeated Pogo the Clown and Trent Hemridge. Saturday Night Portland Wrestling held their latest television taping and this one featured all but the finals of a Light Heavyweight Title Tournament. In the first round Virgil Flynn defeated Nick Rage, The British Messiah Timothy Thatcher defeated Seito Hayashi, El Hijo De Chupacabra defeated Lex Luxor, DJ Rizz defeated "Brian Ward" (Big Ugly in a mask, who was dqed for being Big Ugly in a mask). The semi-finals saw Thatcher defeat DJ Rizz and El Hijo defeat Virgil. The finals will be held at the next taping. Non-tournament matches include The Cartel losing to the Blanchards via DQ (so the Cartel retained the Portland Tag Titles), Vinny Massaro defeated Skag Rollins to retain the Portland Heavyweight Title, Adam Thornstowe and Skag Rollins defeated two men (I never got their names), Paul Isadora and Luster the Legend defeated Rik Luxury and Brian Zane, and Luster the Legend defeated Sideshow. All in all it was an impressive weekend for SPW stars. Join us on May 21 at St. Peter's Hall, join NAW on May 28 at the Fat Cat, and join BRAWL on June 2 at the Contra Costa Fairgrounds.
