Posted by SPW on 3/26/2006, 11:28 am Due to camera issues, this report is having to be written by memory so I am sorry if I get anything wrong. Both Bonzai Bruce Bukkake and Old School Oliver John missed the show due to injuries. Both have vowed that regardless of doctors clearance they will be at the Six Year Anniversary to defend their respective titles. Bruce has signed to put the Extreme Title on the line in the first ever No Rope Lumberjack Three Way Dance. Oliver John will be putting his Heavyweight Title up against the Trendsetter Adam Thornstowe. More matches for the Anniversary weekend will be announced soon. Dark Match: Jesus the Brownsnake Kruze defeated Kenny K with the b###hslap. It was amazing Kenny was still walking following his ladder match for Brawl the night before (where Bruce suffered a deep cut above his eye and required six stitches. First Match: Money Mike Rayne (w/ Otis) and Seito Hayashi (w/ Kassy Summers defeated Jason Vega and Mr. Frost when Hayashi pinned Vega. Second Match: Ryan Drago defeated The British Messiah Timothy Thatcher via submission. The new ring announer, Anthony again messed up Thatchers name. Following the match Commissioner Randy introduced his new interview segement and interviewed Timothy, who went off on Anthony and then went after him. Thatcher got cut off by Sir Samurai and Mr. Frost, who forced him to the back. Third Match: Paul Isadora defeated Steel and thus Steel retained the SPW BUTT Title. We understand that in the next week the Commissioner will be announcing a big Butt Mat..... a unique Butt..... a title defense for the Anniversary show. Fourth Match: Trent Hemridge defeated El Flaco Loco via count out. Trent (and all the Rejected are really starting to win favor with the fans). At the end of the match Flaco hit the Flac Bottom and instead of going for the win rolled out of the ring and started yelling at the fans. When he turned back to the ring Virgil Flynn (Flaco's opponent at the Anniversary show) was standing in ring, holding a chair. The ref, focusing on Flaco, did not see Virgil, and counted Flaco out. Fifth Match: El Hijo De Chupacabra defeated SPW newcomer Tenacious Tim with a beautiful Spanish Fly. Like Kenny K, it was amazing that El Hijo was able to wrestle after the ladder match. Sixth Match: The Rejected (Shane Dynasty and Luster the Legend) defeated the Suburban Commandos when Shane pinned DJ Rizz. This match showed how hot the tag seen is in SPW. According to Commissioner Randy the Rejected, the Commandos, Oregon's Blanchards, APW's the Mafia, the Honor Society, Money Mike Rayne and Otis, So Cal's the Young Bucks, have all demanded shots at Vinny Massaro and Seito Hayashi at the Six Year weekend. Seventh Match: Virgil Flynn defeated Sir Samurai via a DQ when El Flaco Loco charged out and pushed Virgil off the top rope, causing him to fall to the floor, passing through a table first. After the match Samurai and Flaco hugged and talked about how for the first time they see eye to eye. Also Samurai DEMANDED that I mention that he hit Virgil with a top rope Superplex that landed them dead center in the ring. You know things are getting serious in SPW when Samurai comes off the top rope. The Main Event: The Cartel defeated Rik Luxury and the Trendsetter Adam Thornstowe after the Cartel hit Rik with the Weapons of Mass Destruction (the top double team move in the business today). SPW returns to the Colonial on April 8th for one last show before the Six Year Anniversary weekend on April 29 and 30. So look for the 8th to be big because as things stand now only four matches have been announced for the big weekend and there are a lot of people trying to earn spots on those shows. Tonight every wrestler gave a 110 percent and tried to steal the show. Look for things to get even bigger on the 8th.
