SPW on the Road 2/18/06

First of all, we missed this first one last week... February 11 APW ran their latest show at the Garage in Hayward, Ca and two SPW training academy students appeared on the show. Virgil Flynn lost to Tito Aquino and Seito Hayashi (who APW calls Ricky Fontaine) teamed with Kid Omego, Kyu, and Sean Polver defeated Tommy Angels, Imperio, Jesse Jimenez, and Dana Lee. The next APW show is at the Garage on March 4. On February 18 UWA held a show in Orangevale, Ca. The opening match saw Rik Luxury defeat Seito Hayashi to retain the Cruiserweight Title. The Honor Society (Timothy Thatcher and Mr Frost w/Sir Samurai) defeated Tony Dreamer and Brian Cage. Rage defeated Kenny K. El Hijo De Chupacabra defeated Virgil Flynn to earn a title shot at the Cruiserweight Title. Ridiculous Mike Rayne defeated Bulldog Brian Raymond and the Big Ugly JD Bishop to earn a Heavyweight Title Match. Otis and Trent Hemridge (w/ Tommy Tsunami) defeated the Suburban Commandos to retain the tag titles. And Chris Ward defeated Pogo to retain the Heavyweight Title. UWA returns on St. Patrick's Day and will feature an appearance by Matt Hyson (formally known as Spike Dudley). Also on the 18th TNA Impact featured a short match that show Konnan, Homicide, and Machette easily defeat Nor Cal stars Michael Modest, Donovan Morgan, and Ryan Drago. Look for SPW wrestler on the following shows.... Thursday February 23.... HRW in Victorville Friday February 24... BRAWL in Antioch Saturday February 25.... SPW at the Colonial Sunday February 26.... MWF in Chico, Ca Saturday March 4... SPW in Petaluma Sunday March 5....SPW at St. Peter's Hall
