Posted by SPW on 2/6/2006, 10:14 am This match would continued until one man was tossed through the bed of barbed wire. Early Bruce attempted to Sunset Flip Powerbomb Ugly off the apron through the barbed wire, but Ugly blocked it. Bruce made the mistake of hitting Ugly with a Knife Edge Chop at ringside and Ugly responded in kind.... brought Bruce into the crowd and did it again.... poured water on Bruce and did it again. Back in the ring Ugly placed the Ugly Stick (his 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire) onto Bukkake's groin... and stomped on it. He then set the stick up in the corner only to have Bruce drop kick him into it. Bruce slid the barbed wire covered ply wood into the ring. Ugly tried to powerbomb in it it, but Bruce countered with a back body drop (the ply wood did not break so the match continued). Bruce put it on top of Ugly and Moonsaulted on to it. But, again, it did not break. Bruce went up again, but Ugly cut him off and German Suplexed him off the turnbuckle and onto the barbed wire, cutting Bruce's face up. Ugly put the ply wood into the corner. He then put the Ugly Stick on Bruce's bloody face and stomped on it. Bruce recovered and they went back and forth for a bit until, finally, Ugly hit the Rivercity Wedge on Bruce, which finally cracked the plywood, giving Ugly the win and advancing him to the finals. HARDCORE SUPER 8 SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Vinny Massaro defeated Bulldog Brian Raymond in a Bed of Lightbulbs Match This match was a first fall to a finish match, with the lightbulbs being an added bonus. Though it started in the ring, they quickly fought outside and stayed there for awhile. Vinny grabbed a Trashcan lid and a Kendo stick and used both. Bulldog responded by grabbing a mop and using that. Bulldog set Vinny up on a table at ringside and came off the apron, putting him through it. Back in the ring Bulldog bit Vinny with a Belly to Belly Suplex off the second rope. He then pulled the bed of barbed wire into the ring. Vinny ended up back body dropping him off the corner and into the lightbulbs and then scored the win. Sir Samurai came out and said that there was no justice that he did not get to wrestle, but Vinny got to face his best friend Ugly in the main event. While Samurai was yelling at Vinny Adam Thornstowe and Malachi came out of the crowd and attacked Vinny. They end up hitting Vinny with two spiked cross arm piledrivers before Ugly came out and chased them off. They helped Vinny to the back. Commissioner Randy followed. Randy came back out and said that Vinny was being taken to the hospital. This brought El Flaco Loco out. He challenged Samurai, Adam, and Malachi to a Wargames Cage Match and said his partners would be the Big Ugly and Oliver John. The Suburban Commandos defeated Shane Dynasty and Vennis DeMarco (with his manager The Mafia Mastermind Johnny LaRocca) Vennis was making his return to SPW, after having appeared for the company a few years prior. He comes from the APW group in Hayward. Vennis and DJ Rizz started things off. Rizz brought D-Unit in and D went to town on Vennis. Vennis was in for awhile, with the Commandos taking turns on him. Shane came in and went to work on Rizz. Shane and Vennis took turns beating him down. D-Unit finally got the tag, hit a bunch of clotheslines, and hit Vennis with a German Suplex. Vennis and Shane left the ring, so D-Unit tossed Rizz at them. Rizz pinned Shane, hitting Shane with his own move for the win. WARGAMES CAGE MATCH: El Flaco Loco, the Big Ugly JD Bishop, and SPW Heavyweight Champion Old School Oliver John defeated Sir Samurai, Malachi, and the Trendsetter Adam Thornstowe In a Wargames cage match a member of each team starts in the ring. After a minute there is a cointoss. The team that wins gets to send another man in. After another minute the other team sends a man in. They go back and forth until everybody is in the cage. Once everybody is in the match continues until one whole team has escaped from the cage. Adam Thornstowe and the Big Ugly started things off in the cage. Samurai won the coin toss, so Malachi was the next man in. Then Oliver John, Sir Samurai, and finally El Flaco Loco. Everybody beat on everybody for awhile. Samurai escaped from the cage but was quickly followed by the Big Ugly JD Bishop, who ended up chasing Samurai all through the Colonial Hall before catching him and bodyslamming him on the stage. Soon after Malachi was able to escape from the cage. Oliver hit Adam with a sick sitdown piledriver. Then a second one. Flaco and Oliver double teamed Adam for a bit. Flaco then escaped the cage leaving just Adam and Oliver. Oliver went for another Piledriver but Adam back body dropped his way out of it. Adam tried to escape, but Oliver hit him with a Superplex instead. Oliver tried to escape, but Adam cut him off and hit him with a Belly to Back Suplex off the top rope. Adam took Oliver down with a curb stomp. Oliver recovered and hit his Deathvalley Driver. He tried to escape but Adam knocked him from the cage. Adam went for a Double Footstomp off the cage, but just barely missed Oliver. Both men fought to the top of the cage and exchanged blows. Oliver got the ground first and got the win for his team. Supreme Pro Wrestling returns to St. Peter's Hall on February 12.
